Cities with the Most Jobs in Spain
Spain is a European country with one of the best economies. Although it had a financial crisis a few years ago, Spain has become once again one of the countries with the most need for workers and the best economies, and it is now in the 9th position worldwide. Spain has 17 autonomous regions and 2 autonomous cities each with their own regional government.
The most important cities in Spain in economic terms are the capital city Madrid, then Barcelona, Zaragoza and Málaga. These cities concentrate most of the economic activity and so are the places where most workers are needed. In this article we will discuss the cities with the most jobs in Spain. You will find out which cities have the most job opportunities and their main activities.
MADRID
Madrid is Spain’s capital city and it has the largest population in the country (approximately 3.273.049 people). Because it is the capital city of this Iberian country, Madrid concentrates most of its industrial activity.
The construction sector is among those with the most need for jobs, especially for public works. Another reason Madrid is one of the cities with most jobs is the fact that it gathers most offices and headquarters of the largest companies in Spain.
BARCELONA
Barcelona is the second most important city in Spain and one of those with most job opportunities. In Barcelona, real estate gathers most employees among professionals and workers. Then come trade and repairing services where most people in this city work. The car industry also puts Barcelona among the cities with most job opportunities in Spain.
ZARAGOZA
Zaragoza is another city with the most job positions in Spain. Zaragoza’s metropolitan area gathers a wide variety of industries ranging from massive public transportation material, home appliances, mattresses to candies, among others, all of which make this city a good place to look for job opportunities.
As these industries develop, the number of offices and branches grows, and so this city has one of the highest employment rates in Spain.
MALAGA
Málaga is another important city in terms of job opportunities, most of which are in trade and services as well as tourism. Because it is a city in the coast, fishing is another important sector in Malaga´s economy and job creation. Málaga is currently one of the largest economic centers and an important communication hub thanks to its transportation system.
